Sharon Wolford

Sharon Wolford, 83, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at her home.

Sharon Sue was born on October 9, 1942, in Massena, Iowa, the daughter of Donald Glen and Lois Berniece (Cartwright) Wolford.

Sharon found a great amount of peace watching the birds, especially cardinals.

Sharon’s life centered around loving her family. Being a Grandma brought her endless joy; she was their biggest cheerleader. Sharon left a legacy of what FAMILY means and those memories will forever be treasured by those that survive her which include her children, Scott (Stephanie) Marnin, Collette Marnin, and George (Pam) Marnin; son-in-law, Mike Cullen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Lois Wolford; daughter, Tammy Cullen; sister, Karen Wolford; brother, Kenneth Wolford; husband, Lloyd Krause; and partner of over 20 years Sidney “Sid” Rossell.

A private family service will be held with burial in the Victoria Township Cemetery, south of Massena.
